FDHS Named Gold Champion Chapter at FBLA Nationals

Frederick Douglass High School earned Gold Champion Chapter recognition at the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) 2026 National Leadership Conference. Additionally, Preston Wang placed seventh in Sports & Entertainment Management, and Jillian Downey was a finalist in Visual Design. The Douglass club is under the guidance of adviser Bradley Scroggin. 

FBLA is a nonprofit education association that inspires and prepares students to become community-minded business leaders in a global society through relevant career preparation and leadership experiences. The June 29 to July 2 gathering in San Antonio, Texas, drew more than 16,000 middle school and high school students, educators, and volunteers from across the country for education, competition, and networking opportunities.
