Douglass Junior a Co-Champion in State Archery
Abigail Smith, a junior at Frederick Douglass High, tied for first-place honors in the 2026 state archery tournament. She was the only individual state qualifier out of Fayette County Public Schools this year.
The girls tournament and the boys/co-ed tournament were April 21 at the Central Bank Center. The Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA) sanctions archery as a sport activity.
