Douglass Cracks Top 10 at 2026 Educators Rising Nationals

Students from Frederick Douglass High School excelled at this summer’s 2026 Educators Rising National Conference in Portland, Oregon, where the theme was “Teach with Purpose, Lead with Passion.” Congratulations to all!

• 7th place – Karan Ayala-Mast, in Exploring Non-Core Subject Teaching Careers (JV division) 
• 8th place – Douglass team, for Researching Learning Challenges
