Academy Ambassadors

Ambassadors are representatives of their Academy and Frederick Douglass High School. Nominated by their teachers and principals, these students serve as the face of the school to our local business, industry, and community leaders. They represent the school and their academy at district and school events. These students are leaders in the school who demonstrate our values each day. 

Academy Ambassadors participate in a variety of programs throughout the year to develop their leadership skills. Each year, they work on a self-directed leadership project to give back to the school and local community. In addition, they meet local leaders, sitting down with them for small-group discussions.
