Academy of Technology

This academy offers four career pathways.

Cinematography & Video Production

The track includes theory of video, video technology and equipment operation, video production, video directing, video editing, cinematographic art, video and audio technique, and multi-media production. This path prepares students for careers as staff, producers, directors, and managers of media programming and organizations.

Digital Design & Game Development

This pathway provides a thorough understanding of techniques for designing advanced 3D games and simulations. Courses cover 2D and 3D graphics, animation, character development, texturing, scripting, program design and coding, and game setup.

Engineering

This track prepares student to work in structural, load-bearing, material moving, transportation, water resource, and material control systems. Civil engineers design, build, supervise, operate, and maintain construction projects and systems including roads, buildings, airports, dams, bridges, and water systems.

Software Development

This career track preps students to design and create apps and troubleshoot the latest programming languages used in industry. They will be ready for entry-level positions in the IT field or set to study computer programming in college.
